Luka Ploce (Kardeljevo)

Luka Kardeljevo, un bras de mer, se trouve dans la partie N du delta de la Neretva Rijeka, une grande rivière. La ville de Kardeljevo est située dans la partie E de l'entrée et est connectée à l'intérieur des terres par une barge.
Le port de commerce situé sur le côté E de l'entrée.
Il y a un terminal pétrolier dans le Vlaska canal.
Le delta marécageux de Rijeka Neretva est délimité par des hautes terres de chaque côté qui sert à identifier les positions de l'embouchure de la rivière et l'entrée du port, à proximité du N.
Rt Visnjica, le cap à l'entrée N de Luka Kardeljevo, se trouve sur une falaise et est marqué par un feu. Otocic Osinj se trouve du côté sud-est de l'entrée à 3 NM au SE de Rt Visnjica. Cette île est couverte de broussailles et a deux pitons de forme conique. Elle se détache très bien de  la terre derrière qui se trouve derrière elle.
Des bouées lumineuses, amarrées au S de Rt Visnjica, marque l'entrée du chenal menant à Luka Kardeljevo.

Le principal danger dans l'approche du port est une zone de faibles profondeurs et de bancs de sable à l'embouchure de la rivière. Rester bien au large de cette zone.

Le chenal passe près de Rt Visnjica. En entrant, en particulier par le N ou par l'W, prendre garde au fait que Rt Visnjica constitue un angle sans visibilité, cachant les bateaux et les Ferries qui sortent du port.
On peut aussi rencontrer de forts courants en entrant ou en quittant le port.
Passer entre le cap et la bouée verte, qui se trouve dans son E. Continuer vers le passage entre le cap et les quais. Virer au NE lorsque le port apparaît.
Ne pas entrer dans la partie N de la baie.

On entre dans le bassin intérieur du port, en évitant le rocher dangereux du côté N de l'entrée. On s'amarre le long du quai SW, près du poste de carburant suivant la place disponible.

Luka Kardeljevo, an inlet, lies in the N part of the delta area of Rijeka Neretva, a large river. The town of Kardeljevo is situated in the E part of the inlet and is connected to the inland regions by barge canal.

The commercial port lies on the E side of the inlet. 

There is an oil terminal in the channel Vlaska.

The low marshy delta of Rijeka Neretva is bounded by abruptly higher land on each side which serves to identify the positions of the river mouth and the entrance to the harbor, close N.
Rt Visnjica, the N entrance point of Luka Kardeljevo, is formed by a bluff and is marked by a light. Otocic Osinj lies on the SE side of the river entrance 3 miles SE of Rt Visnjica. This island is covered with brushwood and has two conical peaks. It shows up very well against the land behind it.
Lighted buoys, moored S of Rt Visnjica, mark the entrance channel leading into Luka Kardeljevo.

The main danger in approaching the port area is a shallow depth and sandbars at the mouth of the River. Stay well off the area.
The channel passes near Rt Visnjica. Upon entering, especially the N or the W, take care that Rt Visnjica is a blind corner, hiding the boats and ferries which leave the port.
We may also encounter strong currents entering or leaving the port.
Pass between the cap and the green buoy, located in E. Continue towards the passage between the Cape and docks. NE turn when the port opens.
Do not enter the N of the bay.
We enter the inner basin of the port, avoiding the dangerous rock on the N of the entrance. We moored alongside the wharf SW, near the fuel station after the space available.
Good protection.
Ploce is a permanent port of entry.
