A shoal, with a least depth of 7.3m, lies midway between Ruskbuaya and Pulau Silenseng. Another shoal, with a depth of 10m, lies 3 miles ENE of Pulau Silenseng. Pulau Bunta, a small, wooded islet, lies 2 miles N of Pulau Silenseng and is surrounded by a reef which extends about 0.2 mile in places; it is steep-to beyond.
