Maule lake anchorage (Miami)

Laissez le ICW S du # 54 et naviguer dans le milieu du canal, le plus au nord du passage W à Maule Lake. Avancez strictement au ralenti! Le passage est parallèle à un grand immeuble résidentiel sur la rive S.
Lorsque vous entrez dans le lac Maule lui-même , continuez tout droit, éviter le point de S à la fin du canal. Un haut-fond rocheux est adjacent à ce promontoire.
Maule Lake est le plus souvent profond, à l'exception de certains hauts-fonds contigus, les banques N. Avancez au milieu SW du lac avant de couper à l'W du port. Cette procédure permettra d'éviter la zone des eaux moins profondes, qui s'étire du S vers le N.

Maule Lake is not a private lake.  Anchorage is allowed by the property

Leave the ICW S of #54 and cruise into the midwidth of the Northernmost canal cutting W to Maule Lake. Proceed strictly at idle speed! The passage parallels a large apartment complex on the S shore, and numerous signs warn against throwing any wake.

As you enter Maule Lake itself, continue straight out into the wider water. avoid the S point at the end of the canal. A rocky shoals abuts this promontory.
Maule Lake is mostly deep, with the exception of some shoal water abutting the N banks. Cruise SW into the lake's miwaters before cutting W to the harbor. This procedure will avoid the charted finger of shallower water that streches S from the N Baks.

Anchorage located near the center section of Maule Lake, west of unlighted daybeacon #54, with a minimum depth of 6 feet.

As of 2012 the owner of Maule Lake have been notifying anchored vessels of Trespass. Anchored vessels will be cited and steps will be taken to have the vessel impounded. This notice is provided by the owner of Maule Lake.
