CAUTION: When approaching from the south, do not turn into the mooring field until you are past buoy 14.5. There is a large sandbar stretching across the south end of the mooring field.
The Club offers swing moorings and provides a 24 hour Spanish speaking
launch service (personal tenders are not allowed in the mooring field).
Capacity is limited and it is difficult to obtain a buoy here during the
high season (January through April). Reservations in advance are not
possible.
The Clubhouse, which burnt down 1999, will never be rebuilt, but there is a new restaurant and bar open to the public. There are also showers, laundry, WiFi and haul out facilities, using a railway.
You can get diesel at the dock but call ahead (it is not always available). If you purchase fuel you can fill your water tanks at no additional charge. This is a working dock with much commercial traffic, you will not be allowed to tarry and may have to wait for traffic to clear before approaching. You may also be charged an hourly rate to be at the dock.
