Easy access through an inlet NE, it is recommended to boats coming from North to be suspicious of vessel traffic in the Port of Trade. Entry difficult by westerly wind (Libecciu).

Sa situation géographique en fait un abri sûr contre les vagues et les vents dominants, en particulier le libeccio, qui souffle souvent sur le Cap Corse. Par vent d'Est il y a du clapot et du ressac dans l'avant port, dont il faut tenir compte.
Accès facile par une passe située au NE, il est recommandé aux
bateaux arrivant du Nord de se méfier du trafic des navires du Port de
Commerce. Entrée difficile par vent d'Ouest (Libecciu).
