The Port of Bundaberg has two marinas which are located in the Burnett River. There is also facilites to tie up right beside the main street, making shopping very convenient.

The "Spirit of Ireland" leaving the town reach of the Burnett River at Bundaberg.
The precast concrete block lighthouse structure was erected in 1903. In 1923 the lighthouse was upgraded to a brighter kerosene burner and finally converted to electricity in 1961.
