Remarkable
peninsula west of Calvi, advancing 6.5 km into the sea and 150 m high
and supporting the flagship of the same name, one of the most important
of Corsica. The
"grotte des veaux marins" ("Cave of seals") W on the cliff is home unfortunately monk seal since 1979.
Other
attractions in the area: the Oceanographic Studies Center at the tip of
the peninsula and the traces of the Neolithic of the Punta di
Oscelluccia.
Two berths are available in the Bay Revelatta. One south in the bay itself more open to libeccio that cross the pass above or one in a small cove on the north of Oscelluccia.
Do not go farther north (the lighthouse Revellata) anchorage is prohibited around a center of research.

Presqu'île remarquable à l'Ouest de Calvi s'avançant de 6,5 km dans la mer sur 150 m de hauteur et supportant le phare du même nom, l'un des plus importants de Corse.
La "grotte des veaux marins" sur la falaise W n'abrite malheureusement plus de phoques moines depuis 1979.
Autres curiosités du coin : le Centre d'Etudes Océanographiques à l'extrémité de la presqu'île et les traces de peuplement néolithique de la Punta di l'Oscelluccia.
Deux mouillages sont possibles en baie de la Revelatta. Un au Sud dans la baie elle même plus ouvert au libeccio qui franchi le col au dessus ou un dans la petite anse de l'Oscelluccia au nord.
Ne pas remonter plus vers le nord ( le phare de la Revellata ) le mouillage est interdit autour d'un centre de recherche.
