The deep Gulf of Teulada (Bay of Rossa Island) opens W Saprtivento Cape between capo Malfatano and Capo Teulada. It is the furthest S point of Sardinia. Many small bays and coves characterize this area.
The E side of the gulf is high and barren and should not be closely approached.

Le profond golfe de Teulada (baie de l'île Rossa) s'ouvre à l'W du cap Saprtivento, entre capo Malfatano et Capo Teulada. C'est le point le plus au S de la Sardaigne. De nombreuses petites baies et criques caractérisent cette zone.
Le côté E du golfe est haut et aride et ne doit pas être approché de trop près.

Il lato E del golfo è alto e asciutto e non deve essere avvicina troppo.
Porto Teulada is a small bay that lies in N Teulada gulf.W bay, Rossa island stands on the coast.Anchorage by 16 m . Beware to shoals tha lie NE of the Niedda point.
Isola Rossa is 0.5 NM S Punta Niedda. It is 54 m high, red and stands out from the coast. SE of the island is shaped like a saddle, but seen from the SW only a small hill is visible.
