Small harbor protected by a breakwater. It is mostly used by small craft and yachts. The entrance is surrounded by a prominent group of buildings. An aeronautical light is shown from a control tower standing 3.5 miles NNE of the harbor.
Une escale hors du commun, situé dans la baie d'Aigues Morte, à 10 minutes de Montpellier, le port de Palavas est situé au coeur de la station. Le canal vit au rythme du soleil et la pêche traditionnelle est toujours présente. Le Port de Palavas est à la pointe des préoccupations environnementales, labélisé comme "port propre", il propose aux plaisanciers tout l'équipement nécessaire au respect de l'environnement. 2 bassins pour le port:

le bassin Paul Riquet au NW en rivière
Le port avec un tirant d’eau de 4 mètres dispose de 1088 places.

Le bassin intérieur de plaisance
Le bassin est aménagé près des étangs, en amont de la rivière du Lez qui se jette à Palavas. Il peut accueillir 250 bateaux.
