Somptueux endroit de passage de la Corniche d'Or où un ouvrage de soutènement retient la voie ferrée et la route. Il domine une crique de 50 m de gravier et de sable qui se niche au bas de la falaise, accessible, à terre, par un grand escalier. Une stèle commémorative sculptée dans la pierre rappelle que Abel Ballif fut le président fondateur du Touring Club de France.
