Description

The towers, square or circular, have always three floors: a level for water supplies, food and ammunition, another for life and the last for the day.

Their garrison, 2 to 4 men, assured the watch with the lights and regulatory signals in case of  risk, informed sailors, shepherds and farmers.

Some had to defend themselves against invaders and we found the remains  of the combatants at the base. Thus the famous tower  is named LOsse (means bone in french) due to the bones buried at his feet.

The tower of the Osse was designed and built in the 16th century, around the years 1598, 1599 and 1600.

This is a building with three levels of 14.20 m high side door. The base, the cord soil, contains the tank. The play of the first level has a single opening is the door. The soil is clay.

At the second level (14 m2 surface), was the living space of Torregiani. The floor was gone.

There are two windows, a fireplace and a niche.
