Passaggio Dei Fornelli (Stintino Sardegna)

Ce passage, peu profond (profondeur minima: 3m) entre l'île d'Asinara et le NW de la Sardaigne est praticable par beau temps. C'est un raccourci utile qui évite de faire plus de 20MN en arrondissant l'île d'Assinara.
Il ne doit pas être tenté par fort vent de secteur W ou E, car la houle diminue de fait la profondeur réelle.

Un courant de marée pouvant atteindre 2 nœuds peut s'établir dans le passage, mais par beau temps le courant est négligeable.

En arrivant de l'W, une tour sur le sommet de Capo Falcone, à environ 1MN au S de son extrémité, est remarquable.
Une tour sur la côte E de Capo Falcone et le fort de Monte Castellacio sur isola Asinara sont également utiles pour bien localiser le passage.

En arrivant de l'E, le fort sur Monte Castellacio et une tour sur la côte NE de l'île Piana sont utiles pour localiser le passage.

This passage, shallow (minimum depth 3m) between the island and Asinara NW of Sardinia is practicable by good weather. It is an useful shortcut that avoids over 20M by rounding the island of Assinara.
It should not be attempted by strong wind from the W or E, as the swell is reduced by the actual depth.

A tidal stream of up to two nodes can establish itself in the passage, but in good weather the current is negligible.

Coming from the W, a tower on the summit of Capo Falcone, at about 1M S of its end, is remarkable.

A tower on the coast of Capo Falcone and E Fort Castellacio on Monte Isola Asinara are also useful for locating the transition well.

Coming from the E, the fort of Monte Castellacio and a tower on the NE coast of Piana island are useful to locate the passage.

Questo passaggio, poco profondo (profondità minima di 3m) tra l'isola dell'Asinara e NW della Sardegna è passabile nella bella stagione. Si tratta di una scorciatoia utile che evita le 20MN arrotondando l'isola di Assinara.

Essa non deve essere tentata da un forte vento dal W o E, perchè il rigonfiamento viene ridotta la profondità effettiva.

Un flusso di marea fino a due nodi riesce ad imporsi nel passaggio, ma con il bel tempo la corrente è trascurabile.

Provenendo da W, una torre sulla sommità di Capo Falcone, a circa S 1M della sua fine, è notevole.

Una torre sulla costa di Capo Falcone ed E Fort Castellacio sul Monte Isola Asinara sono utili anche per individuare la transizione bene.
Provenendo da E, il forte di Monte Castellacio e una torre sulla costa NE dell'isola della Piana sono utili per individuare il passaggio.
