Description

Boca Chica Channel, with a depth of 9 feet , from Hawk Channel to the naval air station basin on the west side of the key, is marked by a light at the entrance, thence by lights and daybeacons. An overhead power cable has a clearance of 60 feet across the channel.

A restricted area is off the southwest end of Boca Chica Key.

Two auxiliary channels marked by private daybeacons lead off Boca Chica Channel. Channel A leads NW just N of Boca Chica Channel Daybeacon 5.
A large boatyard has an entrance on the W side of the channel between Daybeacon 5 A and an overhead cable.

Channel B leads NW from opposite Boca Chica Channel Light 8 toward the Route U.S. 1 bridge. The depth is 4 feet.

Le Chenal de Boca Chica, avec une profondeur de 2,7 m, entre Hawk Channel et  le bassin de Naval air Station à l'W de la Key, est indiqué par un feu à l'entrée, puis par des balises lumineuses. Un câble aérien avec une hauteur de 18 m, traverse le chenal.
Une zone interdite se trouve après l'extrémité SW de Boca Chica Key.

Deux canaux auxiliaires avec des balises privées s'étendent à l'extérieur de Boca Chica Channel. Le chenal A s'étend sur le NW juste au N de Boca Chica, à la balise 5.
Un grand chantier de bateaux se trouve à l'entrée, sur le côté W du chenal, entre la balise 5 A et un câble aérien.

Le chenal B s'étend au NW à l'opposé de Boca Chica Channel au feu 8, à travers la route du pont U.S.1. La profondeur est de 1,2 m.
