Description

Sferracavallo cape is located N just after Coccorrocci beach and immediatly before Fosi Manna beach, to S.

Capo Sferracavallo is a rocky promontory, covered with low vegetation. It is dominated by the tip Cartuccedu (598 m high). Ferru Mount (875 m high) is 2NM NW Cape and it is also remarkable.

S. Giovanni di Sarrala tower  (20 m high) rises near the coast, 3 NM S Cape.

A wreck, at 14 m depth, is about 0.5 NM S of the tower.

The coast The coast is indented with small gravel coves.

Le cap est situé juste après la plage de Coccorrocci au N et immédiatement avant la plage de Fosi Manna au S.

Capo Sferracavallo est un promontoire rocheux, recouvert d'une végétation basse. Il est dominé par la pointe Cartuccedu (598 m de haut). Le mont Ferru (875 m de haut) s'élève à 2 MN au NW du cap et il est aussi remarquable.

La tour S. Giovanni di Sarrala (20 m de haut) s’élève près de la côte, à 3 MN au S du cap.

Une épave, à 14 m de profondeur, se trouve à environ 0,5 MN au S de la tour.

La côte est découpée avec de petites anses de gravier.

Il capo é situato subito dopo la spiaggia di Coccorrocci a Nord e immediatamente prima della spiaggia di Foxi Manna a Sud.
Capo Sferracavallo è un suggestivo promontorio roccioso, ammantato da una bassa vegetazione.  E' dominato da Punta Cartuccedu (598 m di alta). Il monte Ferru (875 m di alta) sorge 2 MN NW dallo capo e è anche notevole.

Torre S. Giovanni di Sarrala (20 m alta) sorge vicino alla costa, a 3 MN S da Capo Sferracavallo.

Uno relitto, in 14 m di profondita, è a circa 0,5 MN S dalla torre.

La costa è frastagliata con piccole calette di ciottoli.

Nel mezzo della baia, ad una profondità di circa 15 metri, è possibile immergersi sui resti di una bettolina affondata al termine della 2° guerra mondiale.
