Cottrell Key is located in the Outlying Islands of the Florida Keys, it is the northernmost of the Mule Keys that are 9 miles (15 km) west of Key West
It?s a popular spot for snorkeling. There are visible and easy to find remains of a wreck here, and it?s one of the few wrecks that snorkelers can enjoy from the surface.
