Description

Beyond Cape San Martin extends the Javea cove to Cape San Antonio.
This cove is exposed to winds from SE and NE.

The town of Javea, located in the N of the loop is built on a hill at 0.8 NM from the shore. It overlooks the Rio Jalon or Gorgos that opens near and into the port in the SW.

N of the mouth are the ruins of the castle of San Jorge.

Au delà du cap San Martin s'étend l'anse de Javea jusqu'au cap de San Antonio.

Cette anse est exposée aux vents du SE et du NE.

La ville de Javea, située dans la partie N de l'anse est construite sur une colline à 0,8 MN du rivage. Elle domine le Rio Jalon ou Gorgos qui débouche près et dans le SW du port.

Au N de l'embouchure on voit les ruines du château de San Jorge.
