Garrison Bight is located at the East from War Harbor.Pass through Garrison channel to reach Garrison bight.
An overhead power cable crossing the N part of Garrison Bight and the entrance has a clearance of 50 feet over the entrance channel and 34 feet elsewhere.
A privately dredged channel leads from the turning basin to a basin in the SW part of the bight.
Garrison Bight can also be reached via an unmarked channel, locally known as Fleming Key Cut, that leads from Man of War Harbor E between Fleming Key and the N shore of KeyWest to a junction with Garrison Bight Channel at Trumbo Point. A depth of about 6 feet can be carried to the junction.
Fleming Key Cut is reported to have very strong tidal currents and is not recommended for low-powered vessels.
The channel is crossed by a 42-foot fixed span highway bridge with a clearance of 18 feet which connects Fleming Key with Key West.
A municipal marina is at the SW of the bight.

Anchoring or mooring elsewhere in Garrison Bight, except in an emergency or as a shelter during bad weather, is not permitted.
La baie de Garrison Bight se trouve à l'E de Man of War harbor à West Key.Pour y accéder il faut prendre Garrison channel.
Un câble d'alimentation aérien traverse l'entrée N de la baie. La hauteur est de 15 m à l'entrée et 10 m ailleurs.Garrisson baie peut également être accessible par le chenal connu localement sous le nom de Fleming Key Cut, non balisé. Il permet de faire la liaison entre Man of War Harbor, situé à l'E de l'île Fleming et la rive N de Key West par une profondeur d'environ 1,8 m.
Fleming Key Cut aurait de très forts courants de marée et n'est pas recommandé pour les petits navires à propulsion.
Le canal est traversé par un pont d'autoroute fixe de 12,6 m avec une hauteur de 5,4 m qui relie Fleming Key à West Key.
Une marina municipale se trouve sur le côté SW de la baie.
