Le Golfe d'Aigues Mortes est la partie la plus septentrionale du Golfe du Lion. Il comprend les communes de Palavas-les-Flots, Mauguio, La Grande-Motte et le Grau du Roi. Son nom fait directement référence à l'ancien port royal d'Aigues-Mortes d'où Saint Louis (Louis IX) embarqua pour les croisades.
