Hvarski Kanal, which is 1.8 miles wide at its narrowest part, leads between the N side of Otok Hvar and the S side of Otok Brac. Although this channel is deep and clear, it is seldom used except by vessels proceeding to Makarska from the W.

Hvarski Kanal, large de 1,8 NM dans sa partie la plus étroite, s'étend entre le côté N d'O. Hvar et le côté S d'O. Brac.
Bien que ce chenal soit profond et sans danger, il est rarement utilisé en dehors des navires qui viennent de Makarska et se dirigent vers l'W.
