Isla Pan de Azucar (Atacama N Chile)

Isla Pan de Azucar ("Sugar Loaf") is about 0,5 NM offshore with its E extremity.
The island appears light brown and whitish in color.
There are two peaks on the island, with the highest near the center. 

Above-water rocks extend nearly 0.5 NM NW from the island. The outermost and highest rock is 4.9m high, and lies nearly 2 miles offshore. 

An islet lies about 0.3 NM S of Isla Pan de Azucar.

When coming from the S, one should not confuse the two peaks on Isla Pan de Azucar with two similarly-shaped hills on the mainland. These lie a short distance inland and S of the island.
The hills are higher and more rounded than those on the island.

The island is part of National Park Pan de Azucar of Chile and it is forbiden to land.

Isla Pan de Azucar ("Pain de Sucre") se trouve à environ 0,5 MN, par son côté E, au large. 
L'île est d'une couleur brun claire et blanchâtre.
Il y a deux pointe sur l'île, la plus haute se trouvant près du centre.

Des rochers émergés se trouventà environ 0,5 MN au NW de l'île. Le rocher le plus lointain et le plus haut (4,9 m) se trouve à environ 2 MN au large.

Un Îlot se trouve à environ 0,3 MN au S de l'île Pan de Azucar.

Quand on vient du S, on ne doit pas confondre les deux pics de l'île Pan de Azucar avec les deux pics semblables qui se trouvent à terre. Ceux-ci sont plus hauts et plus arrondis que ceux de l'île.

L'île fait partie du parc Nationnal Pan de Azucar du Chili et il est interdit d'y accoster.
