Description

Porgy Key is a small island north of the upper Florida
Keys in Biscayne National Park.
It is located in southern Biscayne
Bay, just north of Old Rhodes Key and Totten
Key, just southeast of the southern tip of Elliott
Key, and in between Old Rhodes and Reid
Keys. It is on the south side of Caesar Creek, the creek that separates
Elliott and Old Rhodes Keys.

It was earlier known as Porgee Key.

Porgy Key was the home for many years of "Sir" Lancelot Jones, a long-time resident. Hurricane Andrew in 1992 destroyed the residence.

Porgy Key est une petite
île au nord de la partie supérieure des Florida Keys dans le Parc national de
Biscayne.
Elle est située dans le sud de la baie de Biscayne, juste au nord de Old Rhodes Key et Key Totten, juste au sud de la pointe sud de Key Elliott, et entre le Vieux-Rhodes et Reid
Keys. Elle se trouve  sur le côté sud de César Creek, le ruisseau qui sépare Elliott et Old Rhodes Keys.
Elle était auparavant connue sous le nom Porgee Key.
Porgy clés a été la maison, pendant de nombreuses années, de
"Sir Jones" Lancelot, un résident de longue date. L'ouragan
Andrew en 1992 a détruit la résidence.
