Punta delle Colonne, S end of S. Pietro island. It is is the most southern tip of the island, and it marks the beginning of the rocky part of the island. In fact, although not higher than 20 meters, the walls of rocks fall into the sea with an impressive verticality.
Throughout this stretch of coast, the waves broke the trachytic lavas, producing a series of rocks very dangerous for navigation, and isolated from the coast, there are two large and beautiful Faraglioni of characteristic forms, where the peak takes its name.
The tip is overwhelmed to 0.3 NM S to dangers.

La pointe delle Colonne est l' extrémité S de l'île S. Pietro. C'est la pointe la plus au sud de l'île, et elle marque le début de la partie rocheuse de l'île. En fait, bien que pas plus hauts que 20 mètres, les murs de roches tombent dans la mer avec une impressionnante verticalité.
Tout au long de ce tronçon de côte, les vagues ont rompu les laves trachytiques, produisant une série de roches très dangereuses pour la navigation, et isolées de la côte, il y a deux imposantes et belles Faraglioni, de formes caractéristiques, d'où la pointe tire son nom.
La pointe est débordée jusqu'à 0,3 M au S par des dangers.

Punta delle Colonne, estremita S dell'isola S. Pietro. E' la punta la piu meridionale dell'isola e segna l'inizio della parte rocciosa d'essi. Infatti, pur essendo alti non più di 20 metri, i muri di rocce precipitano in mare con un imponente salto verticale.
Lungo tutto questo tratto di costa, le onde hanno frantumato le lave trachitiche, producendo una serie di scogli assai pericolosi per la navigazione, e isolando dalla costa due imponenti e meravigliosi Faraglioni, dalle forme caratteristiche, dai quali prende il nome l'omonima Punta.
La punta è sopraffatto fino a 0,3 S MN dai rischi.
