Description

Caleta Chica about 1.5 NM SE of Punta Gorda is a small cove, welle sheltered. It is difficult to identify from the S, however, a hill, 19.8 to 30m high, S of the cove, and Punta Gorda make good landmarks. The land at the head of the cove can be identified by its reddish color.

The depths off the center of the entrance of Caleta Chica vary between 25.6 and 29m and decrease gradually toward the head of the cove where there is 5m about 0.3 mile off. Rocks,
over which the sea breaks.

Beware, submerged rocks lie up to 183m from the S entrance point and also border the shore of the cove.

We can anchor in depths of 9 to 11 m.

Caleta Chica, à environ 1,5 MN au SE de Punta Gorda est une petite anse qui est bien protégée. Elle est difficile à identifier en venant du S bien qu'une colline de 19,8 à 30 m de haut, au S de l'anse, et Punta Gorda sont des points remarquables.
La terre au fond de l'anse se remarque à cause de sa couleur rouge. 

La profondeur après avoir passé l'entrée varie entre 25,6 m et 29 m et décroit graduellement vers la rive où on trouve 5 m de fond, à environ 0,3 MN au large des rochers sur lesquels la mer se brise.

Attention, des rochers submergés s'étendent à 183 m au S de l'entrée de l'anse et bordent le rivage.

On peut ancrer par 9 à 11 m de fond.
