At S and E, Spain is bordered by the Mediterranean sea, except for a small land boundary with the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar.

The boundary between Spain and France lies in the vicinity of Punta Falco, which is located 1 mile NE of PortBou.

L'Espagne est bordée par la mer Méditerrannée au S et à l'E, à l'exception du territoire britanique de Gibraltar et le détroit du même nom qui sépare le continent européen de l'Afrique.

La frontière entre l'Espagne et la France se situe dans le voisinage de Punta Falco, situé à 1 MN de PortBou.

En Méditerranée le territoire espagnol inclut également les îles Baléares.

L'Espagne est divisée en 17 régions (ou communautés autonomes) et 2 villes autonomes situées au Maroc.
