Luka Pomena Mljet

Located at the NW end of Mljet this port is the most touristy.
Approaching Luka Pomena by E or N, attention to the rock outcropping NE of the small island at the entrance to Uvala Stupa, located at N Pomena.
We can go on both sides of O. Glavat, but attention to two islets in S. Do not pass between the two islands.
The large island O. Pomestak extends deal with Luka Pomena. Can pass between the island and Mljet, but beware of reefs along the coast of Mljet. There are 6.4 m in the channel.
Approaching from the W, one finds a rock and an island (Hr Sij) 0.2 NM of a point located midway between Rt Goli and Sparozni Rat (N tip of the promontory).
An island located northeast of Sparozni Rat (Hr Crna Seka), leaving one side or the other before returning luka Pomena.
Then move to SW Galicija Hr.
You can anchor at the wharf in front of the hotel or one of the docks of restaurants across the bay.
You can anchor the S O. Pomestak.
You can anchor the S Bay, W of Pomona.
Luka Pomena is protected from all winds by the islands offshore.

Situé à l'extrémité NW de Mljet ce port est le plus touristique.

En approchant de Luka Pomena par l'E ou le N, attention au rocher affleurant au NE de la petite île située à l'entrée d'Uvala Stupa, située au N de Pomena.
On peut passer des deux côtés d'O. Glavat, mais attention aux deux îlots dans son S. Ne pas passer entre les deux îlots.

La grande île O. Pomestak s'étend face à Luka Pomena. On peut passer entre cette île et Mljet, mais attention aux récifs qui bordent la côte de Mljet. Il y a 6,4 m dans le chenal.
En approchant par l'W, on trouve un rocher et un îlot(Hr Sij) à 0,2 M d'une pointe située à mi-chemin entre Rt Goli et Sparozni Rat ( la pointe N de ce promontoire).
Un îlot se trouve au NE de Sparozni Rat (Hr Crna Seka), à laisser d'un côté ou de l'autre avant de rentrer dans luka Pomena.
Passer ensuite au SW de Hr Galicija.

On peut mouiller au quai en face de l'hôtel ou à l'un des quais des restaurants de l'autre côté de la baie.

On peut mouiller au S d'O. Pomestak.

On peut mouiller au S de la baie, à l'W de Pomona.

Luka Pomena est protégé de tous les vents par les îles au large.
