Description

The town of Vis is located N of the island in the Greater Bay Viska Luka, open to the NE, but where it is possible to be sheltered from all directions.
The entrance to the bay is simple and well marked.
The broad, strong in ruins on the hills on either side of the entrance are impressive.
Approaching from the W or N, N pass Hrid Volicer (marked by a white concrete tower on fire).
At the W and SW of the tower rocks extend to Nova Posta Rt O. Vis.
One enters the Bay of Luka Viska passing E O. Host.
Coming from the E, the Lighthouse on Rt Stoncica is remarkable. We can pass from one side or the other of Hrid Kravis, who wears a white tower with concrete fire.
The main channel passes W Hrid Kravis.
To enter the harbor, passing between O. Host (to starboard) and Krav Hrid (port), and sail to the port to SW.
It was secured to the posts on the visitors dock at SW harbor, mooring lines or get the dock in the village of Kut.
It is forbidden to anchor in the harbor bottom but you can anchor in the bay N of the church located on the peninsula Prirova.
A sewer line eastward from outside the hotel Issa.
We can also anchor off the village of Kut.
In season, Vis is a port of entry.

La ville de Vis se trouve au N de l'île dans la grande baie de Viska Luka, ouverte au NE, mais où il est possible d'être abrité de toutes les directions.

L'entrée de la baie est simple et bien balisée.
Du large, les forts en ruines sur les collines de chaque côté de l'entrée sont remarquables.
En approchant par l'W ou le N, passer au N d'hridi Volici (balisé par une tour blanche en béton portant un feu).
A l'W et au SW de la tour des rochers s'étendent vers Rt Nova Posta sur O. Vis.
On entre dans la baie de Viska Luka en passant à l'E d'O. Host.
En venant par l'E, le phare sur Rt Stoncica est remarquable. On peut passer d'un côté ou de l'autre de Hrid Krava, qui porte une tour blanche en béton avec feu.
Le chenal principal passe à l'W d'Hrid Krava.

Pour entrer dans le port, passer entre O. Host (à Tribord) et Hrid Krava (à Bâbord), et faire route au SW vers le port.

On s'amarre aux postes visiteurs sur le quai au SW du port, sur pendilles ou se mettre au quai du village de Kut.

Il est interdit de mouiller au fond du port mais on peut mouiller dans la baie, au N de l'église située sur la péninsule de Prirova.
Une canalisation d'égout part vers l'E devant l'hôtel Issa.
On peut aussi mouiller devant le village de Kut.

En saison, Vis est un port d'entrée.
