Rab est une grande ville avec un port bien abrité au milieu de la côte W de l'île. C'est un grand centre touristique, desservi par hydrofoil, ferries et de nombreux bateaux d'excursion. Le port reçoit aussi de nombreux plaisanciers et une marina ACI y a été installée. Amarrage à l'un des pontons sur la rive SE du port selon les directives. Les grosses unités (>15 m) peuvent s'amarrer le long de la partie centrale du quai W. Il y a peu de place ici du fait de l'activité du port et la capitainerie pourra vous diriger vers une autre place.

Elle offre une protection totale bien que par forts vents de S et par Sirocco, il puisse y avoir un important ressac dans le port.
