Description

Novigradsko More, a landlocked bay, lies at the S end of Novsko Zdrilo and provides good anchorage.
Rijeka Zrmanja flows into the bay at the E side. This river is navigable by small craft as far as the village of Obrovca, 6 miles above the mouth.

Luka Novigrad, a narrow inlet, lies at the S end of Novigradsko More. The small town of Novigrad stands along the shore and on the slopes of the hills at the E side of the head of the inlet and is fronted by a small craft harbor.

Karinsko Zdrilo, a narrow and tortuous channel, leads from the SE end of Novigradsko More into Karinsko More, a landlocked basin. This passage has depths of 11 to 20m in the fairway, but a sharp turn in the S part, with a width of only 90m, restricts its use to smallcraft and local coasters.

Caution.—Mussel beds, oyster beds, and tunny fisheries lie along the shores of Novigradsko More and Karinsko More.

Novigradsko More, est une baie enclavée, située à l'extrémité S de Novsko Zdrilo et offre un bon mouillage.
Rijeka Zrmanja se jette dans la baie sur le côté E. Ce fleuve est navigable par de petites embarcations dans la mesure où le village de Obrovca​​, 6 miles au-dessus de la bouche.
Luka Novigrad, un étroit goulet, situé à l'extrémité S de Novigradsko More. La petite ville de Novigrad surgit le long du rivage et sur les pentes des collines du côté E de l'entrée bras de mer qui conduit à un port pour petits bateaux.
Karinsko Zdrilo, un canal étroit et tortueux, conduit de l'extrémité SE de Novigradsko More dans Karinsko More, un bassin enclavé. Ce passage a des profondeurs de 11 à 20m dans le chenal, mais un virage serré dans la partie S, avec une largeur de seulement 90m, limite son utilisation aux caboteurs et petites embarcations locales.
Attention.-des élevages de moules, d'huîtres et de thon se trouvent le long des rives du Novigradsko More et Karinsko More.
